We're announcing this now so that we can avoid any complaints about not giving anyone enough time to prepare ha ha ha ha ha
Just like beauty pageants, the 2009 Philippine Dodgeball Champions will reign for a year throughout 2010 untill the next championships and will be expected to fulfill certain duties to help promote the sport in magazines, TV and the occasional radio interviews.

Who may Join
- Any Philippine Citizen.
- We will allow the occasional foreigner to join BUT a team must have at least 5 members who are Philippine Citizens
- If you look too foreign and act too foreign, please don't be offended if anyone questions your Citizenship. The PDBA will administer a test. If you can converse in any Philippine dialect, consider yourself safe. BUT if you can't do this kindly bring any way to prove your citizenship. E.G. Birth Certificate, drivers license, passport, your parents...
Mechanics
Simply form a team of up to 8 members, we will be charging a registration fee of P150/Player that will be used help out in certain tournament expenses. ALL-male teams may only have up to 7 members.

Rules
We will be using the PDBA Competitive Rules. Complete rules are available for download HERE
Yes this tournament does not really discriminate against women. Time and again we've seen teams of up to 5 female members beat all male teams to become champions. The most adjustment we will do is to limit all male teams to 7 members, teams with 8 members must have at least one female memebr on their team. These are the rules, it's not our problem if you can't maximize your team by finding a female member ;p

A total of P28,000 pesos worth of cash prizes shall be divided amongst the top three teams. We're still in the process of collecting product prizes.
